All our orders online-only.
For retail sales, once your order is placed it’s picked, packed and shipped - simple as that really!
For our lab sales, you place your order, package up your films ensuring to include your order details in the package and then ship it to us.
We do the rest!

Scan delivery methods depend on whether it’s Photographic or Motion Picture.
Photographic: All scans are delivered via WeTransfer.
Motion Picture: All orders sent in should include a USB/HDD/SSD sufficient for your chosen quantity and quality options. We then ship your storage device back to you with your films.

We now use Royal Mail for all of our shipping. We find them the easiest to deal with and overall a fair price.
Ultimately the safety of your films is our priority and Royal Mail have delivered more parcels safely and on time for us than any other service.
They are a little more expensive, but we think it’s well worth it when sending valuables like film.
All our shipping is ensured up to the maximum value of the postage method selected.
We do not provide any kind of insurance for other costs.

Sometimes accidents happen despite taking every precaution.
Whilst we love film for it’s analog look and vibe, ultimately it’s greatest strengths can also be it’s greatest weakness.
It is a manual process with in cases many complex steps.
Whilst we endeavour never to damage or lose a film, in the event that were to happen our terms and conditions of sale limit compensation to the replacement value of your physical film stock only. We do not accept responsibility for any other costs such as shoot costs.

We predominantly use a Konica DS1000 lab scanner comparable to a Noritsu HS-1800.
We also use a Pakon F135+ from time to time during peak periods.
All of these have incredible colors and Digital ICE (Dust and Scratch Removal)!

B&W REVERSAL NOTES
We offer B&W Reversal processing because no one else does in the UK anymore (if they do, they outsource) and the feedback we receive is that lots of people want to shoot on B&W reversal without the headache of sending their films abroad - but there are important things to note!!!
B&W Reversal is a highly specialised process with fine margins.
We process CINE B&W reversal by hand using Lomo Tanks for 16mm / 8mm Formats. Lomo tanks themselves generate acceptable but not commercial quality results - it’s the nature of the Lomo Tank with few exceptions.
We process PHOTO B&W Reversal by hand in Paterson tanks which are similarly not immune from uneven processing though better than a Lomo tank (in our opinion).
Uneven processing and cases of silver retention / silver removal are not uncommon and should be expected / factored into your purchase decision particularly if the footage is required to be of a commercial quality.
Whilst every care is taken, we have seen instances where films (particularly old expired films) don’t hold up too well with this highly (highly!!) acid process despite using hardening fixers.
We follow the Ilford method using PQ Universal Developer and a permanganate based bleach. This is not always the strictly recommended process by Kodak, Foma or Adox as it’s an Ilford process.
We have performed various tests on this chemistry and found it the best balance of results vs ease of use.
We also regularly strip test our chemistry and only re-use the clarifier and fixer that have very high capacity.
Developers and Bleach are performed as one-shot for a batch (max 2 films per batch).
The only machine processed B&W reversal process we are aware of is in Europe / USA.
Please bear this all in mind and if in doubt - reach out!
